I love taking photographs. I love photographing different cultures. I love photographing the stage. I love photographing the children. And this was all of it. An eternal love story, from a different culture, performed by kids.
What should I expect more.
This was at the Rongali Bihu celebrations in Melbourne by Victorian Asamese Community.
Usha and Aniruddha’s eternal love story. Only tonight on Clayton Hall.
Due to the poor lighting conditions and changing the stage lighting colors, it was very hard, to capture good images. What is more, I had no idea about the act and the stage traffic.
At the end my veteran Canon 550D camera and 70-200mm with the image stabiliser, came for help. I started photographing with full auto settings with the sports mode. Without any monopod or tripod, I had to use high ISO. Although they are not editorial quality stage photographs, some of them are so dramatic with interesting light effects. I hope you would enjoy them too.
